Are you developing an innovative, data-enabled solution for the decentralised energy industry? Apply to the Pitch Competition and showcase your technology to investors, industry leaders and potential strategic partners at the 2026 Decentralised Energy Forum.
The competition is open to eligible Canadian early- and growth-stage companies working in distributed generation, energy storage, smart-grid and management technologies, or energy services and marketplaces.
Applications close: October 14, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time

The Invitation
Apply to pitch if your company is developing innovative dual-use energy technologies, equipment or enabling systems. This is a valuable opportunity to showcase your innovation to investors and industry leaders, explore strategic partnerships, and build valuable connections.

Eligibility and Evaluation
Eligible companies have innovations in the following categories and should demonstrate strong data-enabled or data-centric capabilities:
Distributed generation
Energy storage solutions
Smart-grid and management technologies
Energy services and marketplaces
Additionally, you need:
Canadian incorporation
A Certificate of Registration
99 or fewer employees
Less than $5 million in revenue during the previous 12 months
Early-stage or growth-stage status
