Jamie McInnis

Jamie holds a Master’s degree in Educational Policy from the University of Alberta and has more than 17 years of experience helping private, non-profit, Indigenous, and government organizations secure funding for research and product development. She has helped obtain over $74 million in research funding and is recognized for building partnerships, forming high-performing teams, managing change, and translating complex challenges into impactful projects.
As Director at ARIS, Jamie oversees scientific, technical, and research administration teams supported by 77,000 square feet of laboratory space and $55 million in infrastructure. Her work advances emerging technologies in clean energy, green building solutions, advanced materials and manufacturing, and unmanned heavy-lift aerial vehicles while supporting economic diversification and workforce development.
