Behdad is the CEO and Co-Founder of Edgecom Energy, a Toronto-based AI-powered energy management and demand flexibility company serving commercial and industrial customers across North America. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McMaster University and is both a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP).
Under Behdad's leadership, Edgecom has grown into a recognized Canadian cleantech company, delivering innovative solutions that help organisations optimize energy use, improve operational performance, and support grid flexibility. His expertise spans distributed energy resources, demand response, energy markets, industrial decarbonization, AI-enabled energy management, and the commercialization of emerging technologies.
Behdad brings extensive strategic and entrepreneurial experience to the Board, with a strong understanding of grid modernisation, advanced energy technologies, and artificial intelligence applications.
