Built with a different philosophy than traditional energy retailers, Alberta Co-operative Energy (ACE) embraces strong cooperative values and operates under the same core principles. This means that ACE leverages pricing and services to provide low-cost access to energy and win-win results. ACE has effectively leveraged the capacity of its business members to quickly become a competitive energy provider to residential, farming, and small to mid size business ventures offering some of the province’s best rates for electricity, natural gas, and renewable energy and the added bonus is an opportunity for partial ownership of ACE through customer membership.

A great ACE Advantage is that ACE customers can choose to “Green” some or all of their electricity consumption by purchasing Green Energy Offsets from our SPARK Certified Green Generators such as a local wind turbine or a specific group of solar microgenerators that are located in their neighbourhood or community. Since the inception of ACE’s Green Energy Offset program, we have directed more than $70,000 to over 140 Alberta microgenerators and we’re excited about new green energy coming online when we look to the future.
