Liz is a seasoned geologist and executive with over 20 years of experience in the energy and mining sectors. As an independent consultant, she currently specializes in critical minerals, sustainability, and battery value chains, with a strong focus on inclusion. Liz previously served as CEO of Common Good Mining, spearheading initiatives to source essential metals for green technology through community and partner collaboration. She is a co-founder and former leader of the Battery Metals Association of Canada, advancing the country's battery metals supply chain. Additionally, Liz played a pioneering role in the development of the lithium and geothermal industries in Alberta with E3 Lithium, the Canadian Geothermal Energy Association, building a community of champions for Alberta’s new energy economy. She is proud to serve on the board of Decentralized Energy Canada, lending her expertise to support sustainable, innovative energy solutions in Canada.
